I'm Marissa! I began my esthetics journey in December 2017 here in GF at Josef's. After realizing entrepreneurship is for me, I started Bloom Beauty Bar in August 2018. I absolutely loved it! I wanted to teach new estheticians my way of customer service and service techniques, along with offering them job opportunities. So with that in mind, I opened Bloom Beauty Bar Grand Forks in June 2021. We opened our second location downtown Devils Lake in March of 2023! It has been completely life changing- I love my job.
I grew up in the Devils Lake area. I now share a home with my husband Hunter, our son Remy, and our FOUR collies: Rand, Kobe, Waffles, and Sugar. Let's just say I'm happy my vacuum works! My favorite part about my job is watching clients leave our business as a new and confident version of themself. I am so excited for what the future holds for Bloom Beauty Bar!

Hello! I’m Chloe. I grew up here in Grand Forks. I decided I wanted to be in the beauty/skincare industry my sophomore year of high school. Originally I wanted to become a cosmetic injector but quickly changed my mind when I found out about the esthetics program at Josefs School of Hair, Skin and Body here in town.

I graduated the program in January 2021 and was Marissa's first hire that April. I became a manager in January 2022, and am now the locations manager and educator for both GF and DL locations. I love to meet so many new amazing people and help them build their confidence. I hope to see you in either Bloom store soon!

Hello, I’m Mani! I grew up in Worthington, MN and moved to Grand Forks where I went to UND for a few years. Realizing that I’ve always had a passion for all things esthetics, I decided to start my journey in 2020, where I attended Josef’s School of Hair, Skin and Body and graduated from the esthetics program. I love what I do and my purpose is to make each and every client feel empowered, confident and beautiful!
When I’m not working, I am spending time with my little family alongside my loving husband and adorable daughter who is always keeping me on my toes.
MATAYA SARGENT

Hi, I'm Mataya! I am from Goodridge, MN. I met Marissa through Mary Kay in 2020, and soon afterwards realized that I wanted to become an esthetician. I attended The Salon Professionals Academy in Fargo and graduated in February 2022. I am so excited to be working with the Bloom team here in Grand Forks! I would say my favorite services are brow waxes, makeup, and lash extensions.
On the weekends, you can find me hanging out with family, friends, assisting with wedding makeup, or at the Silo Boutique downtown Grand Forks!

Hey, I'm Sydney! I was born and raised in Crookston, MN along with my two siblings. I attended The Salon Professionals Academy for the esthetics program this last summer. I am now located at the Devils Lake Bloom Beauty Bar!

I love to spend time with my family and friends and my dog King. In my free time I like to watch basketball, I'm LeBron James' biggest fan, and I love to catch up on sleep, its like my #1 hobby haha!
